TRAINING & CERTIFICATION STATEMENT

Effective date: 20 August 2026

This statement explains what TJI Training Solutions courses, assessments and certificates represent. It supports consistent wording across the website, quotations, course materials and certificates.

1. Nature of TJI training

TJI provides technical training in controlled bolting, hydraulic and battery torque tooling, bolt tensioning, flange working, pipe cutting and bevelling, and flange facing. Each Course is described by its actual learning outcomes, practical content and assessment method.

2. What a certificate confirms

A TJI certificate confirms that the named Delegate completed the stated Course and, where applicable, met the assessment requirements specified for that Course on the date shown.

A certificate does not by itself create a statutory licence, trade qualification, site authorisation or guarantee of competence for every task or workplace.

3. Training, assessment and competence

Attendance, course completion and assessed competence are not interchangeable. Where assessment applies, the certificate should state what was assessed. Employers and duty holders remain responsible for task-specific authorisation, supervision and ongoing competence.

4. Company-sponsored training and certificate release

Where a Customer purchases training for employees or nominated Delegates, the accepted quotation or Booking confirmation may state that original certificates will be issued directly to that Customer.

The certificate remains the named Delegate’s training record and does not become the Customer’s qualification. TJI may provide the Delegate with a copy or confirmation where required by privacy, consumer or other applicable law.

5. Accreditation and nationally recognised training

TJI will not describe a Course as nationally recognised training, an Australian Qualifications Framework qualification, a licence, an RTO-issued unit of competency or regulator-approved training unless that statement is factually correct for the specific Course and delivery arrangement.

TJI-developed industry training will be described as TJI training and will not use the Nationally Recognised Training logo or imply external accreditation unless authorised.

6. Certificate validity, expiry and renewal

Any validity period, expiry date or renewal recommendation must be stated for the specific Course and supported by the applicable scheme, customer requirement or TJI Course rule. A three-year period must not be applied automatically to every Course unless confirmed.

Employers and sites may require refresher training, reassessment or more frequent verification.

7. Verification, replacement and withdrawal

TJI may retain sufficient records to verify and replace certificates. TJI may correct, cancel or withdraw a certificate where it was issued in error, obtained through misconduct or based on information later shown to be materially false, subject to a fair review.

8. Marketing and website rule

Course titles, duration, prerequisites, assessment method, recognition and certificate wording must match the current approved Course specification. Claims must be capable of evidence and must not imply nationally recognised status unless applicable.
